Formula for calculating Body Mass Index (BMI) To find your BMI, simply divide your weight in kilograms by the square of your height in meters.
BMI = WEIGHT / HEIGHT 2
The formula does not take into account the gender and age of a person, despite the fact that men's BMI is higher than women's, and BMI is higher in middle-aged people, while in children and the elderly this indicator is lower.
